Established in 1966, Bevans Oyster Co. has been the heart of Virginia’s seafood industry, and the “Bevans Brand” oyster has become well-known across the United States.
Located in historic Westmoreland County, Virginia, this rural community is nestled between the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers, where our commitment to quality, tradition, and community has been the cornerstone of our operations for over half a century.
We work diligently with federal and state agencies to guarantee that products are packed under safe and strict health regulations. There are over 18 HACCP-certified managers and team members on-site at Bevans and products are shipped fresh daily.
To ensure the future of oysters in the Bay, we explore new technologies, educate the public, and continuously work with state officials, universities, and industry colleagues to cultivate an even tastier, safer product for oyster lovers worldwide.
