Sauteed Oysters

  • 1 quart Bevans Shucked Oysters
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper
  • Ritz crackers or saltines, cocktail sauce

Directions

Drain oysters. Prepare pancake mix as directed. Add onion and oysters to batter. Heat oil in frying pan on medium heat. Pour batter with 2-3 oysters in each cake, cook until golden brown on each side. Serve with ketchup.

Melt butter in a large frying pan. Add onion and oysters. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook until edges of the oysters curl. Serve on Ritz crackers or saltines.
